Mariposa Grove - Our First View of Massive Sequoias

We began our Yosemite tour at the southern tip of the park in the Mariposa Grove. We immediately discovered huge trees and deeply drifted snow, and were tickled at some of the other visitors dressed in flip flops and tennis shoes. The lack of proper footwear did not deter many of these nature lovers from exploring the wonders of the grove, though I imagine their toes were frozen.
